Okay, I'm having lunch with a friend, and we were talking about her in-laws who are farmers. She told me how one time her in-laws went to church one Sunday morning. When they got home, there was a cow wandering around by their pool. Evidently someone left the gate open to the cow pen and the cows were out...wandering all over the yard and such. Then they discovered, a cow had fallen into their pool!! ;D
Now this is an outdoor in-ground pool, not a pool that's above the ground! (I keep wanting to call it a cement pond...like on the Beverly Hillbillies!) Anyway, I thought this was terribly funny, picturing the poor cow in the pool and her in-law's faces when they discovered it! Guess it took alot to get the cow out of the pool, but they did get it out.
Anyway, there is absolutely no point to this story, but I just chuckle to myself picturing these elderly people coming home from church...only to find a cow in the pool!
