That is interesting. I would love to be able to have bakery style bread at home. I spend 90 cents each time I go to take a bagette and whenever I bake, I cannot get that taste or that crust that everyone likes. They don't kile my homemade stuff as well

I have heard that people make bagette's or french sticks we called them here when I was little, in the bread maker. I can't understand how you do this because of the shape.

Maybe they are making th dough in the bread maker and forming it themselves and baking in the oven? That crusty crust is what I am trying to figure out. My breads turn out pale with soft crusts.
