Today I made a pumpkin pie, haven't eaten it yet. I did make one once, probably when I was a teenager.
I did a search for pumpkin, and found so many lovely recipes posted on this forum, I was very impressed. I can see you do love cranberries like what was said!
Well done!

Braidedrug, If there is ever a recipe you need and can't find let me know. I have thousands and thousands of recipes.
My family absolutely love cranberries and pumpkin! Really fresh fruit in general that we can cook and create lots of goodies with ;D

If anyone's interested, I have a very simple, very delicious recipe with pumpkin.
Cook bacon (rashers, streaky bacon for those outside the US) and then chop finely.
Cook/mash the pumpkin. Mix with generous amount of cream cheese, a healthy dose of cajun seasoning, and the bacon. You'll know when you "get it right" because a taste test will have you wanting to lock yourself away with the bowl and a spoon.
Roll out a short pastry (I buy mine already rolled). Cut each square into 8 rectangles, or basically into recs 2" by 3" or something along those lines.
Put a spoonful of the pumpkin right in the middle of each rec, and fold the edges, finishing with a crimp to seal.
Heat oil - I've been experimenting, and thus far a mix of virgin olive oil and salad/cooking oil is my fave.
Put the pastries in the hot oil til they are golden.
Lock the door, so noone else can take them from you.
