Tonight we are trying this recipe. TzimmesPrep time: 15 minutes, Cook Time: 1 1/2 hours, Serves: 6-8 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 4 Wild Oats Organic Carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks 1/3 c. dried apricots, diced 1/3 c. dried apples, diced 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 to 2 c. Wild Oats Organic Orange Juice 4 tbsp. Wild Oats Clover Honey Preheat oven to 375° F. Combine potatoes, carrots, apricots, apples and cinnamon in a large casserole dish. Drizzle with honey and pour enough orange juice over mixture just to cover the bottom of the pan. Slow Cooker Tzimmes: Tzimmes 1½ pounds carrots, sliced 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes 2 cups pitted prunes 1 cup golden raisins 2 small onions, chopped 6 dried pear halves, chopped 1½ cups orange juice 1/2 cup dry vermouth 1/4 cup honey 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon High: 9 hours.
