Quail is such a popular dish. It has been served to us at many very fancy business dinners. I have to confess, though, that I've never eaten it. I cannot bring myself to eat such a tiny thing, and they're always served in a way that makes it quite clear just what it is that's on your plate. Dh enjoys quail, although he does find it fiddly to eat.

With my foibles I do make a dreadful dinner guest.

I'm always happy to eat vegetarian, though.
