Goodness, I haven't thought about this book in awhile! I checked this out of the library sometime ago....maybe 20 years ago! I believe a newer addition has been printed since!
Edward Espe Brown was the president of the San Francisco Zen Center for a time.

I made some of the breads in the book and I thought they were good. They are definitely heavier breads because of all of the grains so you aren't going to find anything "fluffy" here!
