I am probably the last to know this, no surprise, but shopping at "world" markets can inspire as well as save you some money! I can go to the Mexican Meat Market and buy beautiful, freshly brought in peppers, onions and meats that aren't pumped full of "stuff". The tortillas are fresh and the spices are very reasonable compared to the local grocers. I can go to the next town and buy olives, fresh Tabbouleh, BIG cans of olive oil from Italy and Spain for a fraction of what it costs in the local stores, when I can get them. Last week I went to the Mediterranean Market, filled three big bags for under $30 and the man insisted that his son (?) carry them to my car two blocks away because he was a "strong boy"! Down the street from that market is the Indian Market and while not quite as friendly, carries the most beautiful fabrics as well as food! I can spend hours in there just fabric shopping! Do you have "world" markets nearby where you live? I am having such a wonderful time learning about different cultures and eating different foods....it's like having a vacation without having a passport!

Isn't that great about the meat that isn't pumped, lovely.
There is a show on TV called "Big Strong Boys"! I would love to see a world market, violet may know if we have any here.
Buying bulk oil is great.
