Friday was Katie's 8th birthday. We had her party at church. We did a backwards party and it was fun! She had about 15 kids there and boy was it LOUD!. We played pin the donkey on the tail and the farthest away won. I made a word search online with things Katie likes - the kids really got into that. She got a ton of presents - a bunch of Polly Pockets which have a ton of tiny, tiny stuff with them I wrote Happy Birthday Katie backwards on the cake and we sang Happy Birthday Backwards. We served hot dogs I heated in the crock pot and chips and lemonade. It actually was pretty cheap as parties go. I am glad it 's over though.

I am so glad it went well, I was thinking of you all. Polly Pockets are cool. They look so great in our dd's cupboard. Our dd was happy to take her invitations to school this morning.
15 kids is great, the presents must have been so much fun.
