Katie has had to do a research paper for literacy class. (I think it is a little much to ask a 2nd grader, but no one asked my opinion!) Anyway, they had to choose and animal and look up things about it, including how it camoflauges itself. Katie chose frogs.
In addition to the paper, the kids had to make a stuffed animal. Here is a picture of Katie and her frog. He is made from cardstock and stapled. She colored him, glued buttons for the eyes. I cut some red fabric for the tongue.
