So how is everyone else's preteens doing? Ryan spends all her free time thinking of new ways to drive me batty. I'm constantly thanking God that she wasn't twins or triplets. We thought she'd broken her toe recently (still might have) and this was right after a twisted ankle. Doing gymnastics in the house is not a real good idea! She's into her 2nd half of the school year now and I'm hoping it goes easier than her first. The first half she had to take both Latin and Spanish and it drove us both crazy. This semester she's only taking Spanish, next semester will be Latin. Took the school 1/2 of a year to figure out that 10 - 12 year olds can't handle but 1 foreign language at a time.
Enough of my rambling, how's your bunch doing?

Sounds like Ryan is a typical pre teen Pat. They can be a handful. I don't have anything to report about tween kids but I have tween twin grands and they are wonderful. Well I guess not quite tweens...
Does Ryan take gymnastic classes?

Our girl was a bit "ratty" last school year, she turned 12 3/4 of the way through the school year which was Year 6.
One parent commented in the holidays that the class was a little feral and that they thought the kids would have a better year this year in High School, ie Year 7 in a school with Years 7-12. They will have more teachers in a day.
DD is learning Indonesian.

Yes Ryan takes gymnastics - every Tuesday evening for 1 hour.
