I am thinking of getting a new outfit for dd12 for her brother's graduation late next week.
She is probably in a small ladies size. I think I have done the size 14 or 16 to its limits.
Is it possible to get say a 10 or 12 ladies in a style for a 12 year old. She is just 12. Can you suggest something?

Br that's pretty much what I had to do. There wasn't much "junior" size when I was her age. I think I started with a 9 in ladies? I would definitely check into Junior sizes if you have them. Hope you can find something nice for her.

The outfit I found for her sister is from cinnamon girl. Lovely name. I got the brand from our Myer. cinnamongirl.com/It must be an American brand, beautiful dress and not very expensive. Since clothes are cheaper in the US and a season out, they would be mad not to get them from there.

No Myer carries the brand. Her dress has little capped sleeves, is quite long and in blue shades, with an unusual hem line. We have a small Myer which is a department store in our regional centre 1 1/2 hours away. We went there.

I got the outfit for dd12 today. We had a pink but mostly beige dress picked out with a high drapey neckline. Then her heart was set on black shoes. There were copper ones that suited the dress. So then, I took dd3 along, the whole outfit was changed even though the shop was supposed to be closed. I really wish the dress and copper shoes were OK. They look lovely on. The top was the same as the dress, with a chocolate skirt.
I needed an outfit for a piano recital as well, but we ran out of time. Now I am wondering if the other outfit will do for that, it is tomorrow afternoon.

I got another little dress today for our little four year old in a similar style and material to the blue dress. It is white with red, orange, pink and green in the flowers. Then they can all wear them to Grandma's for Christmas Day. The lady who sold us the brown outfit suggested it. I had my hands on a brown dress for me, but couldn't decide. It had a similar hemline to the blue dress above.
