I'm feeling melancholy- my twins turned 10 yesterday! Oh my, weren't they JUST babies. They'll start fourth grade in exactly 36 days! I can't even THINK about the fact that my baby will start Kindergarten as well. My how time does fly. The twinkies are full of talk about being "preteens' and "practically teenagers". I know I'll turn around and they will be!

We started school at the end of January. I had one start university, one start high school at 12 and another at preschool, the baby. Next year there will be none at home and one will start VCE which is the hard bits of high school. I think I am getting used to it all now. And I know what you mean, I have a 9 year old who is in Year 4 atm. She was my baby for a long time. My other daughter will be a teenager in October.

Do you know I worried about this alot. Then this year suddenly it was OK. I think it had something to do with my son being away at school. Hopefully I am not just being negative. There was one day where only our little 4 year old was home for tea/dinner and we heated up three pies and made vegies. That has never happened, well not for ages.

The time does fly by, doesn't it? Our baby is 9, the middle one is 14 and the oldest will be 19 (yikes!) in a few days....seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital...

I know what you mean! We were watching some home movies the other day of the girls. Katie was just about 18 months old and barely talking. Now she is on the phone for hours at a time! How did she get to be 8 and Amanda 4? ?
