Our school PTA has a service where you can buy a pack which contains all the school supplies your child is supposed to have for the grade they are entering. Normally, you get to buy them on meet the teacher night. This year they decided to have a preorder before school ended.
Well, the pack for 3rd grade was $43 - which we just didn't have at the time. I went to the school website and printed off the list. I cannot figure out how in the world they got $43 for this! They claim they don't make any money, but they must not buy generic stuff!
Here is what she has to have:
12 - #2 pencils
1 vinyl zipper pencil pouch with notoebook holes
1 - lg. glue stick
1 - red 70 ct spiral book
1 - black 70 ct spiral book
1 - any color 70 ct. spiral book
2 - 200 ct filler paper wide rule
1 box 160 count tisses
1 box 80 count baby wipes
1 - yellow highlighter
1 - 1" vinyl hardback notebook
1 - 2" vinyl hardback notebook
1 - ruler
2 - pocketfolders
We already have one of the filler paper, 2 of the notebooks and the pencils in the house. The only thing I need to get right away is the black spiral notebook, because Walmart will only get 2 and every kid has to have one!
I think I need to do their shopping for them!
