I took oldest ds to get his hair cut. He has head lice!!!!!!!!!!!! The barber shoed me the bug. I took him home and found 2 more in his hair. I have never had to deal with this before. I asked our pharmacist what to do/use. I just didn't need this right now.

I'm sorry Melody.
We have a thing called Lice Blaster that kills everything, and the bugs are not immune to it. There is also Nads eggs remover, this would keep you going for a week. I do the lice blaster the same day every week for 3 times and nothing survives that.
A quick fix until you get to the shop is to put a heap of hair conditioner in, it seems to get the bugs out and it washes away. You need to get a superfine hair comb, the metal ones with a magnifying thing on it.
Don't worry about the washing, I know alot of people won't agree but it isn't necessary.

THanks BR. I got the shampoo kit that the pharmacist recommended. I washed his hair with it 2x and used the combs that came with. I think I have it all now. I am washing the bedding as well. I started that when I got home. Thanks for the link.

In a week since you did it you could use the shampoo again for any hatchlings. Or get some egg remover to keep the barber happy.

Good advice, Br, about treating his head again after a week. It's so disgusting, dd had it a couple of times in early primary school. Eee-yuk!
Have you noticed that the mere mention of head lice makes your head itch? Ugh!!
