1 bag frozen hash browns (tater tots work too)
2 cups sour cream
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1 medium onion - chopped and sauteed in butter
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
salt/pepper to taste
2 cups Frosted Flakes or Honey Nut Corn Flakes
1/2 stick of butter
*Mix all ingredients except butter and cereal
*Spread in a 9x13 pan
*melt butter, mix butter and cereal
* top potato mixture with buttered cereal
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

yum. This is alot like the knockoff version of Cracker Barrell's Hashbrown Casserole.
Sounds good.

LOL and fat too! I made mine with diced fresh potatoes and it turned out fine. The girls kept asking why there were frosted flakes on the potatoes. Might go for regular old corn flakes next time!
