Beef Stew with Potatoes
1-1/2 lb. round steak
Flour
Salt and pepper
1 medium onion, sliced
6 or 8 potatoes
1 C. water
Cut steak into 1 inch cubes, dredge with flour and sear in hot fat
until brown on both sides.
Add salt and pepper, potatoes and water.
Cook for about 1 hour.
Add more water if necessary.
