2 lbs ground beef 3/4 cup chopped onion -- divided 1 pkg. {1 1/4 oz} taco seasoning 3/4 cup water 1 can {8 oz} tomato sauce 1 can {4 oz} chopped green chilies -- drained 1 can {16 oz} red kidney beans -- rinsed and drained 1 pkg {24 oz} frozen O'Brien potatoes -- thawed 1 can {11 oz} condensed nacho cheese soup -- undiluted 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup green pepper -- chopped 1/4 tea. sugar 1 tea. worcestershire sauce
Brown ground beef and 1/2 cup onion in skillet -- drain. Stir in taco seasoning -- water and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer l minute. Spread meat mixture into a greased 9x13 dish. Top with green chilies, beans and potatoes. In mixing bowl, combine soup, ilk, green pepper, sugar. Worcestershire sauce and remaining onion; pour over potatoes. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hr. Remove foil and bake another 15
