1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 small green pepper, finely chopped 1 28 ounce can tomatoes, cut up 1 cup water ¾ cup long grain rice 1 Tbsp brown sugar 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp chili powder 1/8 tsp pepper dash of hot pepper sauce In a small amount of water or chicken broth, cook onion and green pepper till tender. Stir in all other ingredients. Do not drain the tomatoes before adding. Cover, simmer about 30 minutes or until rice is done and most of liquid absorbed. Top with bacon. Serves 6
