3/4 cup sugar 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour 4 cups peeled, sliced fresh peaches 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 3 Tbsp butter or margarine 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Combine 3/4 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons flour in large bowl. Add peaches and lemon juice; stir well and set aside. Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup flour in a bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle one-third of pecan mixture in bottom of pastry shell. Spoon reserved peach mixture evenly into pastry shell and sprinkle with remaining pecan mixture. Bake at 400°F. for 40 minutes or until peaches are tender. Let pie cool on wire rack.
Makes 6 servings.
