Serves 10-12
1 large head of green cabbage, finely shredded 1/4 head red cabbage, finely shredded 2 large carrots, finely shredded 3/4 C mayonnaise 3 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp white wine or rice vinegar 1/3 C vegetable or canola oil 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp celery salt 1/3 C buttermilk salt & pepper to taste
Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and oil. Add onion powder, mustard, celery salt, pepper, buttermilk and salt and pepper. Pour over shredded vegetables in a large bowl. Toss until well coated. Let chill for a few hours before serving.
