16 oz garbanzo beans, canned
15 oz green beans, canned, french style
1/2 c chopped red onion
1 T dried parsley
1 T vegetable oil
1/4 c vinegar
2 T splenda or sugar
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t pepper
1/4 c parmesan cheese
Drain beans well. Combine all other ingredients in a 2 quart salad bowl. Add beans. May be chilled or served immediately.
Serving size: 2/3 cup for 5 points or 6 if you use the sugar instead of splenda.
Per serving: 248 calories, 6g fat, 13g protein, 38g carbs, 2mg cholesterol, 195 mg sodium
food exchanges: 2 1/2 starch/bread 1/2 vegetable, 1 fat
