This traditionally is where we invite new members to share about themselves. These are the original questions. You may like to share about where you live, you don't have to be specific. Maybe you could share about your work, or your adventures in homesteading or your Christian walk.
How did you find us?
Were you referred by someone? (name of member please)
Married or Single?
Children? Ages?
Pets?
Hobbies?

Hello, My name is Melissa and I live in New Zealand. I have two lovely boys (8yr and 3yr) and a loving husband of 10 years. I have recently gotten interested in cross stitch and I am throughly enjoying it. I have two dogs Tyson and Toby and a cat called Rush who thinks he's a dog! I adore cooking but am not so great at baking. But with a lot of patience and faith I know I will succeed.

Good morning from here in the US! I am "Happy-at-home" and in heart! I found you by looking for a forum I use to belong to a few years back ( I guess no one takes care of it any more as no one has posted in over a year ) and in the search for one like it, found Amy's Humble Musings and your link from her page. I have been married 27 years next week and have known my hubby for 30 years....over half of my life. We have three grown children, two sons and a daughter, all living out of the home but within a quick drive. Youngest son just married and daughter is married, expecting first baby this spring...yup, we'll be first time grandparents! We have a Jack Russell Terrier name Henery Higgins who is 11 years old and is our child who won't leave home, four goats who are spoiled pets as well and a cat named "Chubbas" because she is chubby...and she thinks she is a dog. Hobbies? Wow, this week, the hobby in the lead is quilting. I have a baby quilt started and one for the youngest son and his wife. And then there is a Chiristmas quilt ready to be stitched (I prefer to hand sew the tops, so it takes me ahwile) and a few more ideas on the back burners because I ran out of hands! We make our own sausages, butcher meats, raise a tiny garden (Use to can EVERYTHING but eased up when the kids left...but then they keep popping in, so maybe it will be big next year!)....I like to read and spend lots of time with my hubby

I am not new here, but don't think I have ever posted in this forum either. Welcome to all newbies. My real name is Patti and I also have a christian message board. It is called, "God's Chosen People" I really like this board but I must tell you..I AM NOT CRAFTY AT ALL!! The only thing I know how to make is crushed ice candles and I do a pretty good job at that. Well, I used too, since my health has been failing I don't really do much the way I used too. I remember a time when I did not allow my family to eat bought bread. Made it myself and no bread machines then. Canning, freezing, jamming, you name it I did it.
My career was as a Superviser of Medical Records. We raised 3 boys, one deceased. We have 10 grandchildren, 2 deceased, and 3 of the sweetest, cutest great grandchildren you ever saw.
Well, I hope you all enjoy this board. Love and Hugs, Sky

Hello,
I've been lurking here for a few days now, so I thought I should introduce myself. ;D
My name is Linda and I'm married (almost 18 years). We have three children a boy 15, a girl 13, and another boy 10. We are just finishing our 6th year of homeschooling.
We live on the east coast of Canada, in the province of Newfoundland. We are right on the Atlantic Ocean. This is all new to us as we moved here last year from central Canada (Ontario). There were no oceans where we were from, so we're enjoying the 'newness' of it all.
I found this board through another board I am on (Homeschool Mom's for Christ). I think it was Braided-Rug's blog that I ended up here (although I'm not 100% sure --- I start clicking links and then I forget which place led to where.)
Hmmm.....I guess that's all I can think of for me right now.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better!
Linda
