A spotlight for a new member each week - ask them questions about anything, (but nothing too personal). Just a way for us to get to know each other better.
I am going to be brave and nominate someone to start.
Cara
I'll start off easy:
What do you eat for breakfast mostly? What does your dh have?

What do you think Cara? Will you be the guinea pig so to speak?

What? What? I am the guinea pig. LOL. Great idea br. That is a good way to get to know one another better.
Ok, I have the same breakfast almost daily, as I am diabetic and try to count carbs. I have Special K Cereal with berries and then 1/2 banana, 1% milk on the cereal, one slice of toast with butter and 1/2 glass juice, or hot tea.
Dh eats what I do. He tries to help me stay on my diet. But occasionally I treat him to his favourite, which is biscuits and gravy with bacon, or French toast.
Next question???

The wish fairy has come and given you 3 days for just you! You get to go anywhere you want and do anything you wish? What will it be?

Boy, the good fairy has come YIPPEE. Let's see I would take a long cruise to Alaska with dh aboard of course. I would go to German and see the small village in Barvaria that my family comes from.
And lastly is alot of wishes combined together...I would go and meet all my internet friends.

Br, I have to admit that I am a tad afraid of birds, but since dh loves them we have had several parakeets, and one beautiful love bird which only loved dh btw. LOL. He was the funniest bird ever. Dh would open his cage, say to him come on it is shower time and he would fly to dh and go upstairs with him to shower. While dh showered he would turn on the water ever so lightly in the sink and the love bird Solomon would take a literal shower under the sink faucet. It was too funny. Next ?

Lucie,
I was born here in the states. Cumberland, Maryland. Both of my parents were here as well. Some of my grandparents were born in Germany and came over with my great grandparents on the ship. My great grandfathers name is on the sign at Ellise Island. Of that I am quite proud.
Thanks for asking.

You had better get your questions in quick girls. It is nearly time for Cara to nominate a new member of the week.

I can imagine how proud you are. I would be too.
