My absolute favorites are old fashioned murder mysteries. I love whodunnits, especially when they're set in lush, pretty English and Welsh villages. Mind you I also really enjoyed Shrek when I watched it with the kids years ago!
That said, I see very few movies as my first love is reading.

Ooh I am honored! Well, anything sweet and chocolaty is my favorite to snack with alone. But I would have to say I hoard Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies and eat them after the girls are asleep (when I have cookies in the house)

Well MV with 2 small girls silence is my favorite way of relaxing! LOL! I love to crochet and the rhythm helps soothe me. I put ear plugs in each night and read. I love to light scented candles. I tried bubble baths for a while, but the girls kept beating on the door - so NOT relaxing!
Chelle - it would probably be easier to tell you what colors I don't like! LOL! My favs are pink, purple and green I suppose. But I love teals and corals as well. I really don't like earthy tones - browns, golds, oranges.
Cara - hmmmm, something you don't know about me. Let's see - I can roll my tongue - does that count? LOL! I have been in all lower 48 states plus Canada and Mexico. My sister lived in California for a while and we went to visit her 3 years in a row. Mom always made sure we cut across a corner of a state so we could say we had been there! Let's see - I was marrie before - got married when I was 18 and was married 12 years - bad, bad 12 years. But, God is good and He sent me John - even though he does get in a snit now and again!

Um, well it would be easier to tell you what I don't like (beets) - LOL! I love chocolate of course, but my favorite comfort food is meatloaf. I used to love my Mom's meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. Hmm, have to see if she'll make them when we visit in June!

Well, I make it the same as she did, but it is always better when Mom makes it! I don't measure, so here it is:
2 lbs. ground beef 1 egg, beaten oatmeal enough to bind salt and pepper 1 onion chopped
I add some garlic powder and sometimes I just use a packet of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix. Mix well and shape into a loaf. I pop mine into the corck pot and cook on low all day - topping with ketchup or tomato paste in the last hour.

I love brussels sprouts, and so do DH and Katie. But Amanda can't stand them! LOL! My kids are strange - they love asparagus and broccoli, and Amanda would eat beans of any kind any day!

Hi Cheryl,
What qualities do you admire most in a person and, what do qualites do you admire least?

I admire people who are honest and easy going. I can't stand people who are bulldozers, blunt & insensitive, or always in a hurry and trying to make people think they are a big deal. I admire people who really listen to you.
